2016 seemed to a whirlwind for everyone. Ups, downs, smiles and frowns. With hopes of making 2017 more prosperous than 2016, resolutions are being made and solutions are being sought to render true happiness.
I am excited for what the world has to iffer me starting in 1 day. My plan is to live and love everyone harder, build my business, celebrate and honor my family, improve my community and my bank account, and last but not least walk in the footsteps that have been ordered by God FOR ME.
I will walk in light, practice my yoga and fitness and drink more water. My career will come third to God and Family.
Let your light shine in 2017. Even if you don'tbshare it with the world, write it down and share it with yourself.
Writing your goals down is a good way to hold yourself accountable. Go into 17 like the beast you truly are, hold no prisoners and honor no haters. Love and pray for them, but show no honor. You have no time for that in building your greatness. Charge forward. Here we come 17.

Yoga is more than just getting into difficult physical holds and contortionist positions. It is also more that a competition of who is most flexible. Yoga really is about learning to COME BACK TO YOURSELF. It is about finding your limits, expanding your boundaries and truly being able to relax into who you are.
Yoga is about taking time to remember who you are while being caught up in this fast-paced thing we call life. It has become an increasingly more popular form of exercise because it helps you feel relaxed, harmonious, integrated and complete. Finding your center in yoga poses, helps you find your center in other areas of your life. Dealing with the difficulties of a posture can help you effectively learn to manuever in the difficult situations of your life.
So in short besides stretching you out and getting you stronger, yoga, helps stretch your mind and gets your spirit stronger to deal with the difficulties faced by everyone in everyday life.
Take your time and practice a little daily. Do your research. And don't be afraid to fail. All positions get better with practice. You can do this. You can do whatever you choose. Always good, working on better, striving for best.
Am I the only one that is happy Christmas is over? Don't get me wrong, I love the pretty lights and the joy it brings my children's faces and being able to spoil the ones I love the most. But, as the season goes on, more and more trinkets, wrapping papers, ornaments and things like that begin to adourn my floor. Being someone who vacuums often, seeing these things cluttering my living space become a little draining on my anxiety.
So today, as soon as soon as Kwanzaa started, that damn tree had to come down. Bye, bye lights, ornaments, garland, stockings and candy canes. My tree is actually going in the garbage. Two reasons, 1- someone (kid) jacked it up and made it have a gangster lean. 2- I want to get rid of my white tree and get a green one. Sure I could jack my tree up or spray paint it green. But like 2016, I am ready to be out with the old and in with the new! Holla! Happy to have my clean home back!
I feel so absolutely blessed to have had all of the trials and tribulations that have made up my life. It has made me stronger and wiser. I have been through a lot of things in my life and I am ready to use this knowledge and experiencve to help everyone that I come across. Everyone that is in need of finding their happiest, healthiest life ever.
